More than a school

Lockdown Learning Week 6

As the half term comes to a close, the fun and excitement does not stop at Smith’s Wood.

Year 1 celebrated their Super Space Day with some amazing home-made costumes linked to their topic.

Year 2 found inspiration through their topic ‘A Whole New World’ recreating their own Mary Poppins chalk street art

Following their Birmingham lessons, Year 5 have had the opportunity to create some reusable bags both in school and at home!

Mrs Perks conducted her first virtual choir session this week, with lots of children across multiple year group joining in.

As always, we have some amazing remote learning content on our website put together by our fantastic staff for you to enjoy at home, more content will be coming after the half term!

It has been wonderful to see so many children engaging both in school and with remote learning at home. A big thank you to all parents, carers, pupils and staff for making this half term one to remember. Stay safe and enjoy the half term break, hope to see you all in school soon.
