On Tuesday and Wednesday this week, both Year 5 classes had the opportunity to visit Dovedale in the Peak District as part of our learning on our Rivers topic. Children had to challenge themselves by walking up to the top of Thorpe Cloud and then enjoyed a leisurely walk by the river taking in the scenery and identifying the different parts of a river we had learnt about in class
