    Indoor Athletics

Children from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 participated in an athletics competition against other schools from the local area. They took part in numerous events such as javelin, high stepper, speed bounce, chest push, long jump and relay races! After a fantastic showing from our Smith's Wood pupils, we scored a total of 120 points to get gold! The children showed excellent respect and sportsmanship against the other schools, and we were extremely proud of their achievement!

    Indoor Rowing

A long-standing tradition was upheld as the Smith's Wood girls team put in a dominant display of athleticism and perseverance to secure a well-deserved first place victory.  After some last minute changes to the boys lineup, determination shone through and personal bests were shattered as they narrowly missed out on a podium finish securing a hard-fought 4th place.
