Recommended Reads

Each half-term we have a class reading book which is read to children at the end of the day. At the end of the half-term the children create reviews about the books they have read.

Below are the reviews of the books which have been read in The Spring Term

Year 6

I would rate this book 4.5 out of 5 as it is a hilarious piece of text with lots of amazing jokes. I liked the part where Billy Plimpton and William Blakemore have to work together as they absolutely hate each other. My favourite character is Billy as he starts to realise that it is ok to have a stammer and that he doesn’t need to electrocute himself to be perfect as not everybody is perfect - Olivia 6ES

I would rate the book as 3/5 stars since it is very interesting and it gives a lot of description about the characters. Vita is my favourite character in the story as she’s very determined to make everything right and she is a good role model for me - Evie 6LB

I’d award this book with 5 stars because it is a fantasy book based on a tree. I love the book since it’s about three children living next door to a wood. Silky the fairy is my favourite character as she’s so generous and warm hearted - Blesing 6ST
