  • Stepping back in time With Year 6

    Published 18/03/22

Year 6 got to experience what it was really like to be a Victorian child, during their visit to the Black Country Living Museum. The day started off with a visit to the local school, where they met the very strict Mr Griffiths and experienced how different schooling was like back then compared to now - they even saw Miss Owen and Mr Taylor get a telling off! The children then spent the rest of the day exploring the Victorian village, heading to the sweet shop, the cinema, the chemist and even experiencing how dangerous the gases were in the mines with a live Science show! A great day had by all!
