As part of Year 5's topic this term, 'Look around you!', we went on a trip to Birmingham City Centre to discover it's fantastic history!
As a result of the incredible performances during our netball matches, we were invited to attend a training session led by Wasps Netball team at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry
Our overall attendance this week was 96.8%
Smith’s Wood Primary Academy pupils showed their respect during Remembrance day on the 11th November, with the whole school taking part in a 2 minute silence on the playground at 11am
To launch the new Year 4 topic of ‘Why War’ and science topic of ‘The Digestive System’, Prime VR came into the school to deliver 2 exciting workshops.
On Thursday 8th November, some of our Year 5 & 6 pupils were rewarded, for their 100% attendance, with a trip to Old Trafford to see Manchester United play in the Europa League against Partizan

On Wednesday 6th November, the netball team took on their first match of the season and were certainly ready to beat their opponents
Many thanks to all parents and carers who completed the school feedback forms at the recent Parent`s Evening . 92.7% of parents / carers attended, with the highest turnout being in Reception (100%).
