Dear Parents and Carers, 

As we come to the end of another successful academic year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and partnership. This has been my first year as Principal of Smith's Wood Primary Academy, and it has been a privilege to lead such a wonderful school community. Smith's Wood truly lives up to its motto of being 'More Than a School'. Throughout the year, our pupils have achieved much to be proud of, both academically and through the wide range of enrichment opportunities that have supported their personal development. From educational visits, sporting events and performances to leadership opportunities, competitions and community projects, our children have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm and maturity. I am incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and grateful to our dedicated staff and supportive families who make these experiences possible. 

I hope you and your families have a wonderful, restful summer break, and I look forward to welcoming our children back in September for another exciting year at Smith's Wood Primary Academy.
