At Smith’s Wood Primary Academy, we recognise the importance of regular reading and we know that many of our parents and carers will want to read regularly with their child, even whilst the school is currently closed.
In light of this, we are proposing the following arrangements, so that those parents, who wish to regularly change their child’s reading book can!
From 11.45-12.15 each day, for the following 2 weeks until Easter, if you wish to change your child’s reading book, please arrive at the small hall, where a dedicated team of support staff will be waiting to change your child’s reading book. Please bring both their reading book, and reading diary with you, so that the new books can be recorded in the individual child’s diary.
