On Wednesday 21^st July, we celebrated World Music Day at Smith's Wood! The children had a great day exploring different genres of music and doing Music themed lessons, such as creating a music xylophone with glasses of water and writing creatively based on a piece of music. The children also all took part in a djembe drumming workshop which they thoroughly enjoyed! In addition, the children were treated to a special performance of 'Happy' from the Smith's Wood Staff Band which was a real treat! Overall, a great day was had and it was fantastic to see the children immersing themselves in all different aspects of music!
