More than a school

Year 6's Roarsome Capital Trip

On Wednesday, our Year 6s visited London. During the morning, they went to Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of the guard (even in the rain!), before walking through the horse guards parade and past 10 Downing Street towards Embankment where they saw the London Eye! After a delicious lunch of McDonalds, the children all went to the Lyceum Theatre to watch the matinee performance of 'The Lion King' as they have been studying this in their Literacy lessons. A great day was had by all!
